About

I’m a senior marine ecologist for Point Blue Conservation Science in the California Current Group. I finished my PhD at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2020, where I studied reproductive parameters and population dynamics of a small seabird called the Cassin’s Auklet. Much of my recent work has been focused on the demography and movement ecology of seabirds on Southeast Farallon Island.

This site is meant to showcase my research, dabbling into dataviz and art, and experiences in the field through writing and photography (along with some personal stories from travel and everyday life).
